Connections to the Past
Our bespoke designs subtly interpret the history of special places, and we create authentic connections for imaginative play around historic themes. We think that playscapes should be unique and convey a sense of place, otherwise play becomes generic and predictable. We want to make the wonder of special places and the magic of history available to children through play.
Connections to the Present
Play areas often lack a sense of connection to their place or setting. Children are often segregated whilst engaged in play and corralled in fenced areas surrounded by manufactured materials and structures that don’t have any connection to the surrounding environment. We believe that this limits people’s awareness of their surroundings and makes children feel that pigeon holed and are less likely to care about where they are playing.
